IAFF 16-Hour Peer Support Training February 21-22, Fire Services Bldg. (FSB)

Local 1619's Peer Support Team is excited to host the much anticipated and interactive IAFF Peer Support Training. Registration is open to all active sworn, civilian, and retired 1619 members. The class will be in the Training Room at the Prince George's County Fire Services Building (FSB), 6820 Webster St., Landover Hills, MD, from 0800-1500 hours. Lunch will be provided by Local 1619 on both days.

This class will provide you will active listening skills, an understanding of the legal requirements for confidentiality, suicide awareness, crisis intervention, and available resources. There is NOT a requirement to serve as a 1619 PST member. However, this class is required if you would like to apply to be on the PST.
